A Progressive Voice for Cathedral City
I will be your voice at City Hall if I'm fortunate enough to earn your vote for Cathedral City Council District 1.
Now, more than ever, our city needs progressive leadership to effectively guide us through the challenges we face, and to create new opportunities for our diverse and dynamic community.
You deserve a council representative that is thoughtful; one that seeks out experts for guidance; and evaluates the short- and long-term impact on each policy decision.

Your Concerns Are My Priorities
Alan will be an outspoken voice on the city council to protect symbols of pride for our Latinx, veterans, and LGBTQ communities.
Alan will work with medical experts, community leaders and neighboring communities to ensure our response to COVID-19 puts the safety of residents and visitors first and helps our businesses safely reopen.
Alan will protect Patriot Park, which honors our veterans. It should not be desecrated by being turned into a dog park as suggested by a sitting councilmember.
Alan opposes the contracting out of our ambulance operations to AMR, which risks degrading a vital emergency service.
Alan supports our seniors, families and children who deserve a new community center and a public pool during the summer.
